Texture Matching Is the Whole Job

Most Valley homes have a knockdown or orange peel finish, and every one of them is slightly different — the spray pattern, the knockdown timing, how heavy the original crew went. A patch that’s flat, or textured with the wrong weight, catches the light and announces itself from across the room.
We match the surrounding texture before painting, and feather the repair out far enough that the edge doesn’t show. On a wall with an existing paint job we’ll be straight with you about whether the patch can be blended or whether the wall wants repainting corner to corner — sometimes the honest answer is the second one.

Painting and Stucco in Arizona Heat

Exterior paint here has a harder life than almost anywhere. Sun on a south-facing wall breaks down a finish years faster than the tin suggests, and stucco cracks let water behind the surface during monsoon season — where it does damage you won’t see until it’s expensive.
We patch stucco holes and cracks and blend them into the surrounding finish, and we schedule exterior painting around temperature rather than around convenience. Paint applied to a wall that’s too hot doesn’t bond properly, however good the product is. Inside, it’s simpler: rooms, accent walls, trim and doors, cut in clean and cleaned up after.
