What We Fix Most Often

The calls come in for the same handful of things. Faucets that drip no matter how hard you turn them. Toilets that run for twenty minutes after flushing, quietly adding to your water bill. Garbage disposals that hum but won’t spin. Shower valves that have gone stiff or won’t hold temperature.
None of these need a full plumbing contractor, and most take under two hours. We handle the fixture-level work — replacing the unit, checking the shutoff behind it, and testing everything before we pack up. If we open it up and find something structural, we stop and tell you rather than pressing on.

Water Heaters, Softeners & Filtration

Valley water is hard, and it shortens the life of everything it runs through. Water heaters here rarely make it to the far end of their rated life, and the early warnings are easy to miss — hot water running out sooner than it used to, discoloured water, or damp around the base of the tank.

We repair and replace water heaters, install and service softeners, and fit reverse osmosis systems. The old unit goes with us, and we protect floors and walls on the way out. Softeners in particular pay for themselves here, in fixtures that don’t need replacing every few years.

Plumbing Questions We Get Asked

Faucet swaps are standard handyman work and we do them regularly. Same for toilets, disposals and shower hardware. It’s work inside the walls or on the main line that needs a licensed plumber, and we’ll tell you if that’s what you’ve got.
Yes, and usually cheaply. It’s normally the flapper or fill valve, both quick replacements. A running toilet wastes a surprising amount of water, so it tends to pay for itself.
Hot water running out sooner than it used to, discoloured water, noises from the tank, or damp around the base. If you’re seeing any of those, get it looked at before it fails properly — a tank that goes while you’re out is a much bigger job.
Yes, along with reverse osmosis systems. Valley water is hard enough that a softener meaningfully extends the life of fixtures and appliances.
Often, yes. Usually something is jammed in the impeller, and that’s a quick fix. If the motor has gone, replacement is straightforward and we can usually do it the same visit.
Both. Water under a sink or behind a toilet has usually been travelling before you noticed it, so we trace it back to the source rather than just drying the visible part.
